Quality Lube & Tires
In the shop

No oil changes, no exhaust — but an EV still rides on tires, stops on brakes and sits on suspension, and it's heavier and quicker than the gas car it replaced, so it goes through all three faster. Hundreds of Teslas have been through Quality Lube & Tires in Puslinch. What we don't do: high-voltage battery, charging and drive-unit work. That stays with your dealer, and we say so up front.

What it costs

Quoted before we touch anything

Tires by your exact size, brake and suspension work quoted after we show you what's worn. Same rule as every car here.

What an EV needs from a shop
Tires
EVs are heavy and make torque instantly — tires wear faster than on a comparable gas car. Rotations, seasonal swaps, new sets in EV-rated sizes.
Brakes
Regenerative braking means pads barely wear — and barely get used, so rust and seized hardware are the usual problem. We free, clean and service them.
Suspension
Battery weight is hard on shocks, control arms and bushings. Clunks and bounce get diagnosed the same way as any car.
The rest
Cabin filters, wipers, seasonal checks — the maintenance the spec sheet still calls for.

What still wears on an EV

The engine maintenance disappears. The car underneath doesn't.

Gas carEV

What we don't do

High-voltage battery, charging-system and drive-unit repairs stay with your dealer or an EV specialist — we don't open the orange cables. Everything around them is regular shop work, and it's most of what an EV ever needs.

What drivers say
Never an attempt to upsell, Nav will make recommendations and tell you when you may require additional service.

The service was quick, the price was fair, and my car's been running great ever since. Honestly just nice to find mechanics you can trust.
Randev Soomal · Google review
Driving an older car, with lots of manufacturing issues — glad I can trust Nav and the crew at Quality to be honest about prices and guarantee their work.

EV questions, answered
Do you service Teslas?

Yes — hundreds have been through the shop. Tires, brakes, suspension and seasonal maintenance; battery and drive-unit work stays with Tesla.

Does an EV even need maintenance?

Less than a gas car, but yes: tires wear faster, brakes rust from under-use, and suspension carries the battery weight. Skipping it costs more later, same as ever.

Can you do brakes on an EV?

Yes. Regenerative braking means the usual job is freeing and servicing under-used brakes rather than replacing worn ones — we show you which yours needs.

Do you work on the battery?

No. High-voltage battery, charging and drive-unit repairs stay with your dealer or an EV specialist. We say that up front instead of learning on your car.
